We believe that theatre begins with the written word, and therefore, ours is to be a writer’s theatre and the play is to be the genesis of all our work. To this end, we will produce and nurture the development of material that might not be created without our solicitation and support.
JWT will seek out accomplished writers and encourage them to explore their Jewish identity and create from their hearts. We believe that by establishing a home for such material, JWT will make a lasting contribution to our culture.
