Jewish Women’s Theatre Joins The Association for Jewish Theater
In June of 2009, JWT became a member theatre in The Association for Jewish Theater (www.afjt.com), the country’s largest organization of Jewish theaters, directors, writers, producers, and performing artists. Founded in 1979, AFJT aims to unite theater practitioners who share a common interest in exploring Jewish culture, history, and religion.

The Jewish Artists Initiative
The JAI (www.jaisocal.org) is an artist-run organization committed to fostering visual art by Jewish artists and promoting dialogue about Jewish identity and related issues among members of the arts community. JAI was originally conceived by the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles in partnership with the University of Southern California Casden Institute and the USC Roski School of Fine Arts.
JWT is proud to have been selected to participate in The Annenberg Foundation’s Alchemy Leadership Seminar.
